Obama takes Social Security pitch to Tampa

In an effort to capitalize on the turmoil on Wall Street, Democrat Barack Obama is widening the reach of a new ad assailing Republican John McCain for voting in favor of "privatizing" Social Security.

The ad began last week in West Palm Beach and is expanding to Tampa, the campaign said today. Obama arrived there today to begin preparing for Friday's debate against McCain. He'll step out for a rally tomorrow in nearby Dunedin.
