Brother Miguel files to replace DLP

Miguel Diaz de la Portilla, a former Miami-Dade County commissioner and now a lawyer/lobbyist for the , has filed to run for the District 36 state Senate seat now held by his brother, Alex Diaz de la Portilla.

He joins the list of candidates that includes state Rep. Julio Robaina of Miami and former Miami Beach Rep.Gus Barreiro.
