Rep. Ambler pushes iTunes tax

That Beyonce single for your iPod might soon cost you more, if Rep. Kevin Ambler gets his way.

Ambler, R-Tampa, has filed an amendment to HB 7159 (The chamber's bill that aims to repeal a variety of tax exemptions) that would establish a tax on "digital downloads" including music, audio books, ringtones and videos.

He also filed the amendment for HB 51, which deals with aircraft taxes. HB 51 is set for a chamber vote today.
