As told to Rachel Maddow, former GOP party chair Michael Steele's advice for incoming Democratic party chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz:
"Have someone watch your back and then have someone watch them. Two: remember you can't please everyone, but you can certainly tick them all off at the same time. And three: have fun."
Wasserman Schultz in the interview on Maddow's show pledged Democratic loyalty to labor unions and suggested Gov. Rick Scott's "extreme, radical" bill to drug test state employees will be struck down by the courts.
"Republicans like to say how they want to end the concept of big government. Yet, they propose the most big government invasive proposals of all," she said.
