Democrats will push demand for special session on gun laws

Florida Democrats on Tuesday are expected to formally petition Secretary of State Ken Detzner to poll the 160-member Legislature on the question of a special legislative session on new gun restrictions. Detzner will have seven days to survey the Republican-dominated body, and a session is unlikely.
