Alan Grayson to campaign in Tampa

U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Orlando, is in Seminole Heights this Thursday for a town hall.

He'll meet with voters at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Seminole Heights Library, the campaign announced. The event will cover the economy, gun laws, as well as "other issues that voters want to discuss."

Earlier in the day, Grayson will meet with Democratic activists in Tampa and St. Petersburg.

Grayson is one of three main candidates in the Aug. 30 Democratic primary for U.S. Senate. His chief opponents are U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy, D-Jupiter, and Miami attorney Pam Keith.
