@PatriciaMazzei

Jeb Bush will join the faculty of Texas A&M University come January, the university announced Friday.

The former Florida governor will teach a 10-day elective course "on the role of gubernatorial leadership and its impact on government." His title at the Bush School of Government and Public Service will be executive professor and John D. White '70 Distinguished Professor of Practice.

"Governor Bush is a dedicated and accomplished public servant who will provide our students -- future leaders in public life -- with a vivid perspective of the challenges facing state officials," Dean Mark Welsh said in a statement.

Bush will have a co-instructor, Prof. Blease Graham.
