Because of the South Florida drought there is a feast for birds in Conservation area 2 next to Markham park. Here a woodstork flies above the feast. Thousands of native birds feast on dying fish in the low water of the conservation area. The eastern part is the lowest part so whats left of the water is where the fish are. Egrets, herons, woodstorks, vultures, moorehens, roseate spoonbills, ibis', white pelicans and other wading birds have easy pickings during this drought.
