BrightGauge moving development team from San Francisco to Miami

BrightGauge Software, a Dosal Capital company that develops business intelligence solutions for the IT services industry, announced it has completed moving its software-development operations from San Francisco to the company’s Miami headquarters and added four local software developers to its staff.

Brian Dosal, BrightGauge Software president and co-founder, said the company struggled to find local talent about three years ago and decided to build the development team in San Francisco. But about a year ago, he and his brother, Eric, made the commitment to move the team back to Miami if they could find the right talent. "And we did -- we learned the talent was here," said Brian Dosal. “Our roots have always been in South Florida, and the decision to rebuild our team locally represents our continuous support of the region’s economic, employment and creative strengths as a leading technology hub.”  The Dosal brothers worked at their family's tech business, Compuquip Technologies, before launching BrightGauge.

BrightGauge, founded in 2010, now has seven employees and it is looking to expand, Brian Dosal said. Joining BrightGauge’s Miami office, which is located  in Coral Gables, are:       Christian Toivola, senior systems engineer, responsible for developing new software initiatives that build upon BrightGauge’s infrastructure and scale along with its growth;     Orlando Garcia, web developer, responsible for programming the back-end of the BrightGauge platform, and designing and implementing new features and releases each week;        Steven Restrepo, software support specialist, responsible for managing, fielding and resolving customer requests; and     David Small, front-end web developer, responsible for developing the front-end of BrightGauge’s software application.
