Zak The Baker just needs more dough for his dream.

Zak The Baker, the beloved neighborhood bread maker, will soon will be moving production into a new storefront bakery in Wynwood. Plans for the Wynwood Village Bakery include a café and it will be certified kosher. But he’s run short on funds and is turning to the Kickstarter community for help.

“With one more month to go until the projected opening, we have exhausted our funds and need some help with the final push to get this bakery to the finish line. In exchange for your help, we have put together a variety of gifts that we think are worth every penny,” said Zak the Baker, aka Zak Stern.

Those include bread for a year, a tasting event, a private baking lesson and a Shabbat dinner for five.

Zak The Baker is seeking $30,000 to finish the bakery and is two-thirds of the way to his goal, with 12 days to go. More than 200 people have contributed to his campain.
