Techbasilogo (1)WHAT:
On Friday, November 7, 2014, TigerDirect will take over Miami’s MarlinsPark for a night of new product reveals, consumer giveaways and a stadium-sized party complete with food and drinks from Miami’s top food trucks.  Attendees of this year’s TigerDirect Tech Bash can expect live media coverage, interactive brand activations, emerging technology demonstrations and a slew of exclusive deals just in time for the holiday shopping season.

New to the Bash this year, the TigerDirect Xpress Shop will allow consumers to make on-site purchases, affording attendees a chance to not only test new gadgets, but to also take home exclusive products before the rest of the world has a chance.

Also new this year, TigerDirect and lead sponsors Intel and McAfee will be letting the kids in on the fun this year- entry age to open up to 13+. In addition to exciting brand activations by tech heavy hitters like Samsung, Lenovo and Alienware, Red Bull will activate an extreme sports showcase on the stadium’s promenade.  Guests will have plenty of food and drink options throughout the night including complimentary ballpark-style food & drinks (while supplies last), refreshments for purchase at Marlins Park concessions like the Bacardi Bar and Budweiser Bar, plus Miami’s most popular food trucks including Ms. Cheezious, HipPOPs Handcrafted Gelato Bars and Jefe’s Original Fish Taco and Burgers.

“We are thrilled to double the size of last year's Tech Bash and to expose our customers to the latest technology products and innovations,” says Steven Leeds, Director of Corporate Marketing at TigerDirect. “We are equally excited about our partnerships with local companies and organizations as this is our effort to further propel South Florida into the international tech spotlight."

Admission to the TigerDirect Tech Bash is free with pre-event registration at www.TigerTechBash.com.  A $10 entrance fee will apply for entry at the gate for those who do not pre-register.
