Tech eggCrowdfunding Investing Workshop: Venture Hive and the Knight Foundation will host a free daylong Crowdfund Investing workshop led by Sherwood Neiss. He spearheaded the writing of crowdfund investing legislation in the 2012 JOBS Act that was ratified by President Barack Obama and also wrote preeminent “how to” guides for entrepreneurs and investors looking to raise money. 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Venture Hive, 1010 NE Second Ave., Miami.
