US team in town!

Unlike other national teams, the US slips into town and practices with little fanfare...just a few diehard fans watch from behind the fence, and a few reporters show up...13 guys were in camp today for a light workout, 8 others were due in by tonight...practice Tues-Wed-Thur mornings and then off to Honduras, where The Catrachos are 8-0-0 at home this World Cup qualifying cycle. Will be a tough match. Clint Dempsey out with sprained shoulder. If US wins, they clinch a World Cup spot. If Honduras wins and Costa Rica loses, Honduras advances. If US fails to clinch there, they have one more chance vs. Costa Rica in Washington DC Oct. 14. Biggest pity is that the US-Honduras match is not on cable TV.
