This weekend's Grand Tasting Village attendees will be the first to get their hands on the latest from Doral-based Badia Spices: Biscayne Bay Seafood Seasoning.
The blend of sweet and smoked paprika, thyme, celery salt, fennel seed, cumin and black pepper is the creation of Florida International University student Eddie Zeng, who won a $5,000 scholarship for his winning formula.
There's little doubt what popular brand of seafood spice Badia is trying to remind consumers of with its Biscayne Bay label. The flavor? Smokier than Old Bay, with a finer grind of spices.
Badia says we can expect to see Biscayne Bay Seafood Seasoning on shelves worldwide this summer.
