Florida Panthers to Celebrate Hanukkah on Tuesday

Chanukah2The Panthers are presenting tonight's game against the Coyotes as South Florida's largest Hanukkah party.

It should be quite the festive evening.

Among the festivities: There will be a giant menorah lighting ceremony on the ice during first period intermission and a special broom hockey match between costumed Maccabes and Greeks during the second intermission.

The Maccabeats will perform pre-game and during the first intermission. They will also sing the National Anthem.

Glatt Kosher food will be available for purchase throughout the game.

Chabad of Florida helped organize the event through the Panthers.
